The scene
It is Friday, 1:00 in the afternoon, at the Honey Badger Logistics docks, Building C. A Honey Badger forklift driver is pushing a pallet of 55-gallon drums of Awesomeness into an outbound trailer at Dock 3, while the outside carrier's driver watches from the dock. A fork goes into a full drum on the pallet at the trailer door. Awesomeness is spraying from a hole partway up the drum onto the aluminum dock plate and running across the dock floor. There is a mild alcohol smell. About 10 gallons are out, and it is slowing as the level drops toward the hole. The propane forklift is still running beside the spill. The forklift driver's boots and pant legs are wet. He backs away and calls Ellen Ripley. The trailer is already partly loaded with more drums of Awesomeness. It is 72 degrees and dry, with the wind from the southwest at 8 miles an hour.
