Scenario S-6 — the scene

The scene

It is Thursday, 6:30 in the morning. Honey Badger Logistics, Building C, has been open since 5:00, and Building B day shift started at 6:00. An Arrakis Fuel and Lubricants tank truck is filling diesel tank D-2 at the Building C fueling area, and a Honey Badger fueling attendant is attending the delivery. The D-2 high-level alarm goes off, and diesel comes out of the vent and down the side of the tank. The driver stops the truck pump. There is a diesel smell. About 40 gallons are out, running south across the open end of the fueling pad toward storm inlet SI-3. The drain cover is not on SI-3. The attendant has radioed Ellen Ripley. It is 50 degrees, dry and just getting light, with a light north wind.
