The scene
It is Sunday, 2:30 in the afternoon. It rained in the morning and stopped at noon. It is 55 degrees and overcast, with the wind from the west at 5 miles an hour. Buildings A and C are closed and Gate 3 is locked. The only people on campus are one Building B operator on rounds and the security guard at Gate 2. On patrol in the truck yard at Honey Badger Logistics, Building C, the guard finds a Honey Badger tractor, parked there since Saturday, with a cracked fuel tank dripping diesel onto the asphalt. There is a sheen on the water in storm inlet SI-3 and a diesel smell. On the same patrol he sees a rainbow sheen on the lake at a pipe on the shoreline, about 50 feet out. The tank holds 150 gallons, and about 70 are gone. Two people are fishing from a boat near the shoreline pipe. Security has not called anyone yet.
