This course satisfies training requirements under 29 CFR 1910.252 and NFPA Standard 51B. Participants will learn what hot work is, how to assess risks, the permitting process, emergency preparedness, and record keeping requirements. Retraining is required when procedures change, job duties shift, or deficiencies in performance are noted.
