40-hour HAZWOPER
Full 40-hour training required before any site work begins. Workers also need 3 days of supervised field experience before working independently.
Annual 8-hour refresher required every year after.

24-hour training required for workers who will be hands-on with hazardous materials in a cleanup or response role. Workers also need 1 day of supervised field experience.

Covers hazard awareness and emergency procedures. Appropriate for workers with no direct hands-on exposure — managers, office staff, and awareness-level responders.
