24-Hour HAZWOPER Technician Level Training
This course equips workers with the requisite training to effectively respond to a hazardous materials release in an active manner.
Class Objective
Building on the 8-hour level training, the purpose of this course is to ensure worker safety during hazardous waste operations and emergency response.
Requirements
Hazardous materials site workers must have 24 hours of initial training. This course satisfies the requirement under 29 CFR 1910.120(e). Additionally, workers must also complete one day of field training with a trained supervisor, which is the employer’s responsibility.

Anyone involved in the cleanup, treatment, storage or disposal of hazardous substances, or if you are a supervisor of anyone in this group.

How long is my Certificate of Completion valid? One year. Annual refresher training is required per 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(ii & iii).
